Next, we will create a customized 3-D design reflecting your backyard vision. This allows you to see what your new pool or spa will look like and give you a chance to make revisions and additions if necessary.

Once your design is perfected and finalized, we then obtain engineering plans and procure the proper permits for your project. This step helps to assure that your pool meets required structural and safety guidelines.

This stage involves one of our construction supervisors meeting with you for a final confirmation of the pool location and dimensions. Then a licensed crew will perform the excavation according to your exact specifications.

Rebar is then installed in the excavation site to create a sturdy base to support the pool. This stage helps to strengthen and reinforce the structure of the project, providing the pool with its structural integrity.

During the plumbing stage, our crew uses quality materials to construct the system that will be largely responsible for the flow of water into and out of the pool. Some major parts of the system consist of: the auto fill, water filtering systems and water features.

Gunite helps to ensure the structural integrity of a pool. During this stage, a mixture of materials are shot onto the rebar under high pressure to create the strong inner-shell of the pool.

During this stage, our tile crew installs the tile of your choosing to help protect the walls of the pool. This is a step in the process that allows you to get creative with your material selection.

At this stage, concrete is poured according to plan specifications. Aside from natural fan finish concrete, we also offer other options as well. Some other options include: colored, stamped, and salt finished concrete.

Similar to the tile stage, a crew will come out to install the stone of your choosing. Customers are able to choose from a variety of stone options in order to add more of a personalized touch to their project.

At this stage, a crew will install the equipment necessary to operate the pool. Each Kern Pools pool includes a wireless control panel that allows you to control your pool with just a touch of a button.

This stage involves an experienced crew meticulously cleaning both the yard and inside of the pool to prepare your backyard project for completion.

During this step, an inspector will visit to sign off on various pool requirements. This is the last step of the inspection process and once complete, confirms that the pool is ready to be plastered.

Plaster is the final step before the pool is filled with water. Customers can choose from a variety of pool finishes including: white plaster, quartz, and pebble.

An experienced pool technician will get the pool up and running by starting up the equipment, balancing chemicals, and revisiting weekly to monitor and maintain the pool for a period of 30 days.
